This is a quick note to introduce a new series of posts. I like to call it * vs. * because there will be several subjects of comparison in this series. I didn’t want to use letters or numbers for the subjects to avoid showing preference. It might sound silly, however it is my attempt to be creative & non-traditional. Anyways, within this series I intend to explore the comparison of dishes which seem similar to me. For example, are tzatziki & raita as similar as they appear to be? After all, they’re both cucumber sauces. Also, what IS the difference between wheat & buckwheat? How can one of them be considered to be gluten-free? Stay tuned readers, as I research & ponder these questions among others.
